Browntop millet, also known as pala pul in Tamil, Korale in Kannada, and Andakorra in Telugu, is a tropical grass planted primarily in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Browntop millet is presently one of the most scarce millets. It is gluten-free, has a low GI, and hence lowers cholesterol when consumed. It's gluten-free and high in fibre, iron, calcium, magnesium, and other minerals. Browntop, which is high in fibre and minerals, is a wonderful place to start eating millets.
