Frequently Asked Questions

how is basmati rice different from regular rice?

Basmati rice is a long-grain, fragrant rice that's grown primarily in India. It has a nuttier flavour and a higher starch content than other types of rice.

Is Basmati rice better than white rice?

Basmati rice is generally healthier than white rice because it has more fiber and a lower glycemic index. The reason for this is that basmati rice has a higher starch content and less amylose, which means it digests more slowly than other types of rice.

Can I eat basmati rice daily?

You can eat basmati daily if you want to! It's just one of those things where moderation is key—eating too much could lead to weight gain or digestive issues if you're not careful about portion control.
